​Dave Nellist, the national chair of the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition (TUSC) and member of the Socialist Party today appeared on the BBC Sunday Politics show. Dave was interviewed about TUSC and our position towards the general election. Dave talked about Jeremy Corbyn’s anti austerity policies, Brexit and more.

​Trade Unionist & Socialist Coalition are hosting a pre-election rally with Dave Nellist, former Workers MP on a Workers Wage as guest speaker, alongside Socialist Steve Williams. Other invited speakers are Bill Rawcliffe (RMT), Louise Harrison (Womens Lives Matter), Theresa Rollinson (90 day Care UK striker) and Owen Harris-Evans (young socialist).

Today, ​Monday 20 February, Parliament is debating the near 2 million signature on line petition opposing Trump's state vist to the UK, so anti-Trump protests have been called around the country, including Sheffield.

The demo starts at Devonshire Green at 5pm marching down Division Street to a rally at City Hall.

The Socialist Party will set up a stall at Devonshire Green at 4-15pm. Please join us.

On Tuesday, the Socialist Party meeting is discussing the Middle East with guest speaker Jon Dale speaking.
